When my cousin offered a spot for a short trip to Hat Yai for RM300, with transportation, accommodation and tour guide included, I did not hesitate.
What is most memorable for me would be the coconut ball, thai green tea (most definitely), 7E coffee (super kaw), and the last restaurant we stopped for lunch before heading to Malaysia.
And I did feel that Hat Yai is a very quaint town that I would want to explore on foot/tuk tuk if I will ever feel like going again.

Tour package is definitely not my cuppa tea – but at least it gets me to Thailand and Turkey with the cheapest cost ever that I shouldn’t be complaining 😛
